Plan for the urban renewal of Stoa and Puhos area is the first step after the open architectural competition for Helsinki East Urban Centre.

The plan aims to support the existing diversity and functions. The existing urban spaces and streets are defined more clearly and strengthened by infill construction. Stoa cultural centre is extended and a new urban green space is created in place of the existing parking place. Puhos mall connects to the new housing blocks and a new alley activates both the upper floor and the back side of the mall.
